NATUROPATHIC CARE FOR MENOPAUSE
Menopause
Support
Personalized support for menopause symptoms, sleep, mood and hormonal health, helping you navigate this stage of life with greater understanding and confidence.
You deserve to feel like yourself through every stage of menopause.
Maybe you're waking up throughout the night drenched in sweat. Your energy feels different, your concentration isn't what it used to be, or you're experiencing anxiety that seems to have come out of nowhere.
Perhaps you're struggling with hot flashes, changes in your weight, reduced libido or vaginal dryness. You might feel frustrated that the strategies that once worked for your body no longer seem to be helping.
And while menopause is a natural stage of life, that doesn't mean you have to ignore symptoms that are affecting your quality of life.
You may be dealing with:
Hot flashes or sudden waves of heat
Night sweats and disrupted sleep
Fatigue or reduced energy
Anxiety, irritability or mood changes
Brain fog or difficulty concentrating
Changes in weight or body composition
Vaginal dryness, discomfort or painful intercourse
Changes in libido or sexual well-being
Urinary urgency, frequency or recurrent urinary symptoms
Joint aches or changes in physical comfort
Concerns about bone health and healthy aging
Because PMS and period pain are common doesn't mean your symptoms should be dismissed.
Menopause is a transition, not the end of your health journey.
Menopause is generally defined as having gone 12 consecutive months without a menstrual period, when there isn't another explanation for the absence of menstruation. The years leading up to menopause are known as perimenopause, while postmenopause refers to the years that follow.
Although the timing and experience are different for every woman, symptoms can continue after periods have stopped.
For some women, hot flashes and night sweats are the biggest challenge. For others, sleep disruption, mood changes or vaginal and urinary symptoms have the greatest impact.
There is no single menopause experience, which is why your care should reflect your symptoms, medical history, priorities and long-term health goals.
A whole-person approach to Menopause
We look beyond individual symptoms to understand how your changing hormones, sleep, nutrition, nervous system and overall health may be influencing how you feel. Our goal is to help you understand your symptoms, explore appropriate options and develop a plan that fits your life.
Depending on your needs, care may include:
Nutrition and metabolic health
Reviewing your nutritional intake, energy levels, activity and other factors that influence your overall health. We'll consider practical ways to support muscle strength, cardiovascular health, bone health and healthy aging.
Sleep and nervous system support
Exploring factors that may be contributing to disrupted sleep, stress and emotional changes. Practical strategies may help support rest and resilience, alongside appropriate treatment for menopause-related symptoms.
Individualized supplement support
Reviewing whether nutritional deficiencies or specific supplements warrant consideration based on your health history, symptoms, medications and goals. Supplements are not a replacement for established menopause treatments when those are indicated.
Collaborative care when needed
Menopause hormone therapy can be an effective option for many women experiencing bothersome symptoms, depending on their individual circumstances and medical history. We can help you understand questions to discuss with your medical provider and coordinate care when appropriate.
The aim is not to give you an overwhelming list of things to do or promise that every symptom can be resolved naturally. It's to help you understand your options and make informed decisions about your health.
Vaginal, urinary and sexual health
Discussing symptoms such as vaginal dryness, discomfort with intercourse or urinary changes, and helping you understand when treatments such as vaginal moisturizers, lubricants or prescription therapies may be appropriate. Persistent urinary symptoms should be medically assessed.
There is no one-size-fits-all approach to menopause. Your symptoms, preferences, medical history and risk factors all matter when deciding which strategies and treatments are appropriate.
If you're struggling with symptoms that are affecting your sleep, mood, relationships or daily life, you don't have to navigate the process alone.
