NATUROPATHIC CARE FOR ANXIETY & STRESS
Anxiety & Chronic Stress
A whole-person approach to anxiety and stress, looking at your nervous system, hormones, nutrition, sleep, digestion and overall health to understand the bigger picture.
When your mind won't switch off, your body often feels it too.
Anxiety isn't always just worry. It can show up as racing thoughts, panic, irritability, poor sleep, digestive symptoms, muscle tension, fatigue or the feeling that you're constantly "on."
Naturopathic care looks beyond the symptom to explore the factors that may be contributing to how you're feeling — from hormones and nutrient status to blood sugar, thyroid function, digestion, sleep and chronic stress.
You may be dealing with:
Constant worry or overthinking
Racing thoughts
Panic or feelings of overwhelm
Physical tension or a racing heart
Anxiety that worsens before your period
Difficulty falling or staying asleep
Stress-related digestive symptoms
Fatigue or feeling "wired but tired"
Difficulty relaxing, even when life slows down
When anxiety starts affecting everyday life
A whole-person approach to anxiety
Rather than simply trying to make anxiety disappear, we look at why your nervous system may be having difficulty feeling safe and regulated.
Anxiety isn't something I look at in isolation. As a naturopathic doctor with a clinical focus on mental health, I look at how your nervous system, hormones, nutrition, sleep, digestion and overall health may be influencing how you're feeling.
My approach combines evidence-informed naturopathic medicine with a practical, individualized approach to care. We'll look at your symptoms in context, use laboratory testing when appropriate, and create a plan that supports your mental and physical health without overwhelming you with things to do.
If anxiety has become a regular part of your life, we can look at the bigger picture together and create a plan that feels realistic for you.
Virtual naturopathic appointments are available across Ontario.
