Burnout & Nervous System Regulation
NATUROPATHIC CARE FOR BURNOUT & NERVOUS SYSTEM REGULATION
A whole-person approach to burnout, chronic stress and nervous system regulation, looking at sleep, hormones, nutrition, energy and overall health to understand the bigger picture.
You can't keep running on empty and expect your body not to notice.
Burnout can leave you feeling exhausted but unable to slow down. You may feel disconnected, irritable, overwhelmed by small things or like you're constantly running on empty.
Nervous system regulation is about helping your body respond to stress more effectively — while also looking at the physical and lifestyle factors that can keep you stuck in a cycle of depletion.

Feeling overwhelmed by everyday demands
Irritability or emotional reactivity
Difficulty concentrating or "brain fog"

When burnout starts affecting everyday life
My approach to burnout
Rather than simply telling you to “reduce your stress,” we look at why your body may be having difficulty recovering.
Burnout isn't something I look at in isolation. As a naturopathic doctor with a clinical focus on mental health and nervous system health, I look at how chronic stress interacts with sleep, hormones, nutrition, digestion, energy and overall health.
My approach combines evidence-informed naturopathic medicine with a practical, individualized approach to care. We'll look at your symptoms in context, use laboratory testing when appropriate, and create a plan that supports recovery without giving you another overwhelming list of things to do.
You don't have to keep running on empty.
If you're exhausted, overwhelmed or feel like you've been operating in survival mode for too long, we can look at the bigger picture together and create a plan that feels realistic for you.
Virtual naturopathic appointments are available across Ontario.
